Designblok 2006 starts

Designblok is a display of world design which is held annually in Prague in the form of presentations and exhibitions in galleries and salesrooms. Designblok 2006 starts today and ends on 8th October. The main topic of this year is housing and home.

Designblok is centred mainly in Superstudio in complex River Diamond (Prague’s Karlin, street Rohanske nabrezi) where visitors can see project Domov muj (My home) devoted to present housing visions. Here you can find not only presentations of more then 50 designers but also an inquiry office providing information about Designblok 2006 and a reading-room with style magazines from the whole world.

Among other places where Desingblok takes place let us name Vinohradska road with kitchen and furniture studios, Holesovice or Old Town. Logos of Designblok 2006 are located on visible places for easier orientation.
