Suzanne Vega in Svandovo divadlo

The American singer and songwriter Suzanne Vega is going to perform in the big hall of Svandovo divadlo (theater) in Smichov, Prague 5, tonight. She will play together with her bassist Mike Visceglia.

Suzanne Vega became famous thanks to her album Solitude Standing with songs like Luka or Tom´s Diner. Since then, she released several albums well regarded by both critics and listeners and cooperated with Phillip Glass and others. In 1999 she released a book called The Passionate Eye containing her lyrics, essays, short stories and an interview with Leonard Cohen. Her next album should be ready next year in the spring.

Tonight, the concert starts at 8 pm and will be followed by introducing the book Everything is a bet, a compilation of interviews with various personalities, Suzanne Vega included, held in the theater. The tickets are available at the venue.
