Formula 1 in Prague?

Prague might not be attractive for tourist only for its sights and cultural programme but also for one of the popular exhibition of strong engines – formula 1. City Prague considers building a new circuits for popular F1 races in Prague’s borough 10 within a few years.

The circuit should not change the historical core of the city but on the other hand it should not be far from the city centre. The layout of the circuit and the surrounding would be designed by the famous architect Heemmann Tilke who is the author of the circuits in Sepang, Shanghai, Bahrain or Istanbul.

The project would be funded by private sponsors. One of the difficult part on the way to F1 races will be to get a licence for F1 and a permission from people living in the neighbourhood.
