Exhibition of Czech contemporary paintings

For those who are interested in contemporary paintings, we would like to introduce an exhibition displaying a part of Richard Adam’s private collection which is in its complexity the largest collection of Czech paintings from the 80’s till today. The exhibition called Akne focuses on the works from the last ten years.

The title Akne (Acne) after a painting by Jiri Cernicky may characterize the whole exhibition for its connection with youth and puberty. Some paintings are surprising, provoking, representing innovative motives and made by various techniques and approaches. The exhibition displays lots of paintings made by young generation.

The exhibition held in Rudolfinum Art Gallery is a good example of cooperation of a public institution with a private collector. You can visit the exhibition until 30th December.
