Exhibition and sale of Dalí and Picasso
From 21st January 2007 people can see an exhibition of work made by such great artists as Salvador Dalí or Pablo Picasso in Prague. Some exhibits will be even available for sale.
The works are borrowed from a German collector from Kunstgalerien Bottingerhaus in Bamberg. It is a representative set of work by artists from Spain, Germany, Austria, France or Italy. Next to the best known authors Dalí and Picasso visitors can also see works of Max Ernst, George Baselitz, Joseph Beuys or Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
The most expensive exhibits are Dalí’s sculptures. Their price is about 7 million CZK. The most expensive painting is by Pablo Picasso’s Faune it vieux roi from 1963 whose price is 1 850 000 CZK.
The exhibition will take place in Prague Gallery Miro in the St. Roch Church in Prague-Strahov.
