Lord Mayer of Prague will climb Mount Everest

The flag of Prague and the flag of the Czech Republic will probably fly on the highest mountain of the world Mount Everest soon. The Lord Mayor of Prague Pavel Bem and five other mountaineers will climb Mount Everest from the north side from Tibet.

Their expedition is supposed to take 2 months starting at the end of this week. Their route to the top is considered to be one of the more difficult ones. Pavel Bem’s occupation is a doctor, so he will support the expedition with medical care.

Pavel Bem has always wanted to climb Mount Everest and he took unpaid leave of absence to make his child dream come true. Many politicians, however, expressed their objections against such a long trip.
