Potter mania dominated Wenceslas Square in Prague
Hundreds of people gathered in Wenceslas Square last Saturday morning to buy the newest Harry Potter book called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The sale of the book in English version (Czech translation will be ready at the beginning of the next year) started at 1 a.m. CET.
Fans of Harry Potter (many of them dressed in costumes) could meet on Friday evening in bookstore Kanzelsberger in the upper part of Wenceslas Square. They could meet there the Czech translator of Harry Potter books Pavel Medek.
The sale started in bookshops Kanzelsberger and NeoLuxor in Wenceslas Square on time. Benches and kerbs along the square were full of readers (both Czech and foreigners) who wanted to start reading as soon as possible.
