Prague weather

After really hot weather in July and August the temperatures in Prague right now has been under 18 ˚C (64 ˚F). for many days now. It’s rainy and quite windy. What does the weather forecast tell for the coming days?

The meteorologists expect that the Indian summer should come at the end of September and the beginning of October. The day temperatures will rise to more than 20 ˚C (68 ˚F), in a sunny day even more. However, it’s a long-range weather forecast and it still may change.

From 11th to 20th September it will be cloudy with occasional rain showers. Night temperatures will reach max. 11 ˚C (52 ˚F), the day temperatures may rise to 13 to 18 ˚C (55 – 64 ˚F), in sunny days to 23 ˚C (73 ˚F). From 21st to 30th September the weather will be very changeable. Night temperatures about 11 ˚C (52 ˚F), the highest day temperatures will climb from 16 to 22 ˚C (61 – 72 ˚F). The weather between 1st to 10th October should be sunny, later on with more clouds. Night temperatures will be about 10 ˚C (50 ˚F), the highest day temperatures from 16 to 22 ˚C (61 – 72 ˚F).

Even though the maximum temperature record was almost broken this July, the weather forecast for August promises a lot of rain and no tropical temperatures in the Czech Republic.

From 1st to 10th August it will be clouded with rain showers or storm. The lowest morning temperatures will be between 9 and 4 ˚C (39 and 48 ˚F), the highest day temperatures between 19 and 25 ˚C (66 and 77 ˚F).

From 11th to 20th August the sky will be clouded. We can expect heavy rains and rain showers. At the end of this period it will rain only occasionally. The temperatures may rise up to 27 ˚C (80 ˚F).

From 21 and 31st August the weather will be sunny. At the end of the period expect more frequent shower rains. The lowest night temperatures will be between 14 and 8 ˚C (57 and 46 ˚F), the highest daily temperature will range between 20 and 26 ˚C (68 and 79 ˚F).

Heat waves with lack of rain will be followed by storms and heavy rains with local floods. From 11th to 20th May expect sunny weather with numerous rain showers and storms. The average night temperature will be around 15 ˚C (59.0 ˚F), the highest day temperature will reach 31 ˚C (87.8 ˚F).

From 21st to 30th June expect mainly cloudy weather with light rain showers and storms. At the end of this period rain showers will appear only occasionally. Night temperatures will be about 12 ˚C (53.6 ˚F), the highest day temperatures between 19 and 25˚C (66.2 and 77.0 ˚F), later on between 22 and 28 ˚C (71.6 and 82.4 ˚F).

From 1st to 10th July the weather will be somewhat cloudy with night temperature about 14 ˚C (57.2 ˚F) and day temperatures between 23 and 29 ˚C (73.4 and 84.2 ˚F). Anyway, no long-range weather forecast is 100% accurate.
